There's something special about this young farmer and singer song- writer as soon as he walks on stage. His presence is commanding, but it is not until he begins to sing that his true strength shines.
In a style reminiscent of the western crooners, Peter Pratt crafts songs with rich melodies and feel-good rhythms that command attention. Outback skies, droving camps, rural history and love ballads come to life through his deep, chocolate-rich voice. Peter has lived the life he sings about. A former drover, ringer and rouseabout, this wool classer lives and works in regional Australia. His love of this land's heritage is also evident in his involvement with the Australian Heritage Light Horse Troop. His unique approach has given him immediate credibility within the Country Music industry.
Four consecutive radio hits from his debut album Ever True, including two Top Ten hits and a Golden Guitar nomination are a true reflection of his talent and integrity. Add to that a swag of awards and finalist nominations from industry bodies including a TIARA and the Australian Independent Country Music Awards and you begin to realise how special this man and his voice are.
